The inspiration for the second round of the Light Festival came from the World Space Week "Remote sensing". Festival was organised by NPO Stellaarium, Tartu Observatory and Jaan Ulst in Tõravere park on 8th October 2016 kell 18:27- 22:00.
Festival had two main areas:
Science area was situated in the Observatory's main building and in the big hall of the big telescope tower.
Science area showed space labs, ESTCube-2 etc.
Performance area was situated in surrounding park. Trail performance called "Visiting the Space" was created with 4 scenes.
